The Mission of I-90 Community Church

Helping people along the I-90 corridor and beyond to know and become like Jesus Christ.

I-90 Community Church exists to introduce people of all backgrounds and walks of life to the person of Jesus Christ, and through loving and relevant community help one another become like him - everything we do is for that purpose.

But become like Jesus? You mean be homeless, grow a beard and wear sandals? No, not exactly. God doesn’t much care about the outward appearance anyway. The heart is where it’s at, and to be like Jesus means to live according to his heartbeat: a heart for compassion, mercy, justice and truth. A heart for knowing and experiencing God. A heart that’s bent towards serving rather than being served. A heart for wanting to count for something beyond itself. This is the heartbeat of Jesus.

God invites everyone to come on this journey of knowing and becoming like his son, and therefore so do we. We don’t care who you voted for in the election, how you dress or where you grew up. And please don’t worry if you’ve never been to church before or it’s been a really long time since you attended one – you’ll fit right in. In fact, if that’s the case, this church was started for you. God takes each of us “as is,” and from there we’ll grow together to become all that He intends for us to be. We’re not about religion… we’re about relationships. And no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve been through, there is hope, healing and new life to be found in Jesus Christ.
